Pearson featured in Wooden Canoe

Pearson's Voyageur canoe has been featured in the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association Magazine — a non-profit organization devoted to preserving, studying, building, restoring, and using wooden and bark canoes.

Thanks to the efforts of Pearson students and faculty member Mark Wheen, the canoe has seen a great deal of coverage this year, from its creation to its first voyage. Pearson College thanks Wooden Canoe Heritage Association, who helped to sponsor a portion of the canoe. The article captures Mark's first-person experience of how the canoe came to be, along with some striking photography by Pearson students, faculty and staff.
