Annual Fund Campaign

Pearson College raises funds to pay the full scholarships of all their students each year from 4 sources: earnings from the endowment fund (about 31%), annual donations and grants from governments and UWC National Committees (32%), summer and other income sources (5%) and annual fundraising (32%). The Annual Fund helps to protect the full scholarship policy and preserve the educational and extracurricular programs that are essential to the Pearson experience. Whether you choose to support the Scholarship Fund, the Student Aid Fund, Race Rocks or Sustainability Initiatives, you are making a valuable contribution to the Pearson Community.  Please help us keep the momentum by giving what you can today.

Join in and make a donation online or learn more about other ways to give. For more information regarding annual giving or how you can get involved, please contact eroffice@pearsoncollege.ca or call 250-391-2485.

Rebuild the Docks Campaign

The docks, those same docks from which we launched divers, sea rescuers, sailors or just jumpers, are ready to be replaced. We have the opportunity to rebuild them as the college would be stretched to pay for this otherwise. There are about 300 planks in the three sections of dock that need replacing. Replacement of the entire dock apparatus would cost approximately $115,000 or about $50 per square foot. If students do the work, it would be about $30 per square foot and cost a total of $69,000. Therefore, we can think of each plank as being worth about $250. We have also set up a naming opportunity whereby for a donation of $300 you can have a plank engraved with your name and a message. There is an anonymous donor who has offered to match all our donations.
