30 YEAR REUNION (YEARS 12, 13, 14 and 15)

August 11-15, 2017


We're excited to welcome you back to campus after 30 years!

Registration:

Registration is a simple 2 step process:

1. Choose ON-CAMPUS or OFF-CAMPUS accomodations. Keep in mind that off-campus accomodations are not provided by the College, but we do have a list of nearby accomodations as a place to start your search. 

2. Complete the online registration process, make your payment and that's it!

If you can't make the entire reunion but would like to come for a day or two, you will need to register by emailing Julia with the specific dates you will be joining us. You will then receive a confirmation of cost and you will make the payment over the phone. 

Rates:

Pearson College UWC is revising rates for this year's Alumni Reunions to reflect the family-friendly environment we strive to create at our reunions. These rates take into account important feedback we have received from alumni over the years (including this year), while also reflecting the actual costs associated with hosting reunions on campus and the fees charged to attend comparable events.  

Our goal is to ensure the costs of our reunions are both equitable and aligned with our UWC Values, while also supporting the College's need for financial sustainability. We believe these rates are affordable and comparable to "market" prices for similar events where accommodation, food, activities, and transportation are all included in the cost.  

Attending full reunion from August 11-15 (four nights):

On-campus rates include all meals, receptions, activities and accommodation 

Off-campus rates include all meals, receptions and activities    

Adults (over 16) = $700 Adults (over 16) = $350

First Youth (5-16) = $550

Subsequent Youth (5-16) = $275

First Youth (5-16) = $200

Subsequent Youth (5-16) = $275

Children (under 5) = Free Children (under 5) = Free

 

 

 

 

 

Attending part of the reunion (daily rates):

First Youth (5-16) = $140

Volunteer Sign-up:

This is your reunion, and therefore we need you to plan it. We are looking for a group of alumni to join the organizing committee to help ensure the program is filled with activities year 12, 13, 14 and 15 alumni are looking for, and to ensure all alumni in these years know about the reunion and as many of them as possible attend. 

If you are interested in joining the organizing committee, or would like to suggest who you think would be a good member of the committee,

Here are a few answers to the questions you may have.

Travel Fund: 

Every year, alumni pool money together to help ease the financial burden of other alumni travelling to and attending the reunion. The College holds these contributions until the reunion and then distributes them to the alumni selected by the Travel Fund committee as recipients. Donate Now!

The Travel Fund is meant to help alumni come to the reunion. If you are in a situation where additional funds would help you be able to attend the reunion, please apply for funding. Apply here.

The Travel Fund Committee is made up of alumni who promote participation both in terms of donations and applications to the fund and then select recipients according to the application process. If you are interested in sitting on the Travel Fund committee pleaseemail Julia.

Visa Applications:

Please remember to plan your travel plans early. If you need a letter of invitation to apply for your visa please email Julia with the following details:
 

1. Your name and birthdate as they appear on your passport
2. The name of each person you are travelling with as on their passport
3. The name and address of the embassy/consulate you will be working with
