summer service program
One of the core aims of the UWC movement is to enable talented, committed young people from around the world to become catalysts for positive change within the communities in which they live. Pearson College has designed an 80-hour Summer Service Program to provide students in between their first and second year with an opportunity to apply skills learned at the College to their home communities. It is also designed to demonstrate that service is not something that is "exotic" but is needed in every community.
Students often talk to many groups about the mission and goals of Pearson College, and their experience here, assisted by the presentation available for download below. It was recently updated by Kevin W., PC YR 38 (click on the photo).
